Argon arc welder — Walker County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Walker County, Georgia. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Day to day you will run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding Pay around $5,100 per month, based on your experience.
