Garden maintenance worker — Stone County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a garden maintenance worker in Stone County, Missouri. You will be based in a botanical garden. You should have: • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors On a typical shift you will prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe; plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings; rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste; cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs.
