Restoration bricklayer • Anson County, North Carolina

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Anson County, North Carolina. You will be based at a renovation and extension job. What we are looking for: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools On the job you will handle: • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts Pay around $3,900 per month, based on your experience.
