Cnc lathe setter — Bedford County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Bedford County, Pennsylvania. The job is in a precision engineering workshop. You should have: • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection The role involves: • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Load and index turning tools in the turret Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
