Now hiring: we are hiring a rigger in Ife South, Osun State. The job is on a high-rise building site. Day to day you will coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position. What we are looking for: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness Part-time with flexible hours.
