Safety marshal — York County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a safety marshal in York County, South Carolina. The role involves: • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
