Flatlock machine operator • Licking County, Ohio

We are recruiting: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Licking County, Ohio. You will be based on an export house sewing floor. Day-to-day duties: • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers What we are looking for: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory Six days a week, one day off.
