Semi-automatic welder — Montgomery County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Montgomery County, Indiana. You will maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding. You should have: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes Pay around $24 per hour, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
