Immediate opening: we are hiring a demolition labourer in Wilson County, North Carolina. The job is on a road and bridge project. Ideal candidate: • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio Day-to-day duties: • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer Performance bonus on top of base pay.
