Bulldozer operator • Alcona County, Michigan

Great opportunity: we are hiring a bulldozer operator in Alcona County, Michigan. You will be based at a plant hire yard. Requirements: • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise On the job you will handle: • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines $3,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
