Immediate opening: we are hiring a smash repairer in Katagum, Bauchi State. You will work in an insurance-approved repair centre. You should have: • Confident reading insurance estimates and damage reports • Steady hand for filler work and block sanding • Trade certificate in auto body repair an advantage Day-to-day duties: • Straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains • Strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair • Knock out dents and creases using a panel hammer and dolly • Pull out deep dents with a slide hammer or stud welder • Shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer • MIG-weld and spot-weld new panels into place Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
