Fusing press operator wanted in Franklin County

Now hiring: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Franklin County, Illinois. The job is at a dry cleaner's. Requirements: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory Day to day you will clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics. Full-time with occasional weekends. $4,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
