Immediate opening: we are hiring a press operator in Winona County, Minnesota. You will be based in a metal fabrication workshop. You should have: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading On a typical shift you will carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; deburr and stack finished components for the next operation; record output and downtime on the production sheet. $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
