VMC operator wanted in Augusta County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a VMC operator in Augusta County, Virginia. You should have: • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade Your main tasks: • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $3,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
