Overlocker operator • Nome Census Area, Alaska

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Nome Census Area, Alaska. Day to day you will operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance. You should have: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
