Core maker — Adams County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a core maker in Adams County, Colorado. You will work in a non-ferrous casting shop. The role involves: • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings Ideal candidate: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding 5+ years on the tools preferred. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
