Carpenter — Callaway County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a carpenter in Callaway County, Missouri. On the job you will handle: • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • Good eye for detail and a clean finish Six days a week, one day off.
