Bricklayer — Cerro Gordo County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a bricklayer in Cerro Gordo County, Iowa. The role involves: • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge You should have: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools Rotating shifts.
