Sausage maker wanted in Jaba

Vacancy available: we are hiring a sausage maker in Jaba, Kaduna State. You will be based in a supermarket meat department. What we are looking for: • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler On the job you will handle: • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings Six days a week, one day off.
