Rigging foreman • Weber County, Utah

Great opportunity: we are hiring a rigging foreman in Weber County, Utah. You will be based at a shipyard. You should have: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles Day to day you will establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; read lift plans and method statements before starting; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
