Excavator operator • Ifelodun, Osun State

Now hiring: we are hiring an excavator operator in Ifelodun, Osun State. The job is in an open-cast mine. Day to day you will excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels; work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines; break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment; load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
