Press machine operator — Eilean Siar

Vacancy available: we are hiring a press machine operator in Eilean Siar, Scotland. You will be based in a sheet metal stamping unit. The role involves: • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor Requirements: • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses Part-time with flexible hours.
