Plasterer's mate — Graves County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a plasterer's mate in Graves County, Kentucky. You will be based at a plastering and dry lining contractor. Requirements: • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets On the job you will handle: • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler 6+ years on the tools preferred.
