Mechanical press operator wanted in Washington County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in Washington County, North Carolina. You will work in a sheet metal stamping unit. Day to day you will punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts. Ideal candidate: • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards Pay around $3,600 per month, based on your experience.
