Container truck driver — Buchanan County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a container truck driver in Buchanan County, Virginia. You will work at a haulage company. The role involves keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load; plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules; secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars; carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off; report defects and book the unit in for servicing. What we are looking for: • Current Driver CPC qualification card • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift.
