Industrial sewing operator — Leelanau County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Leelanau County, Michigan. You will work at a knitwear stitching unit. You should have: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus The role involves attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges.
