We are recruiting: we are hiring a CNC milling operator in Eilean Siar, Scotland. What we are looking for: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces The role involves read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter.
