Cement mason wanted in Horry County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a cement mason in Horry County, South Carolina. You will work on a building construction site. On the job you will handle: • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade You should have: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds 5+ years on the tools preferred. $3,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
