Urgent requirement: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Washington County, Minnesota. The job is at an automotive body and exhaust shop. On the job you will handle: • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding Requirements: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols Performance bonus on top of base pay.
