Furniture maker — Cherokee County

Now hiring: we are hiring a furniture maker in Cherokee County, North Carolina. You will work in a bespoke joinery workshop. Day to day you will glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together; assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops; install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails; plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish; cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw. What we are looking for: • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • Good eye for detail and a clean finish Full-time, day shift.
