Prep cook — Dumfries and Galloway

Vacancy available: we are hiring a prep cook in Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland. You will work in a hospital or office canteen. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies Day to day you will prepare the mise en place before each service; check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down; keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift; prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
