Immediate opening: we are hiring a road roller operator in Bland County, Virginia. You will work in an open-cast mine. You should have: • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination The role involves: • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
