Die-casting operator • Jersey County, Illinois

Immediate opening: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Jersey County, Illinois. You will be based in a non-ferrous casting shop. You should have: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Basic grinding and fettling skills You will inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture. 5+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $4,000 per month, based on your experience. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time with occasional weekends. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
