Now hiring: site carpenter (Michigan)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a site carpenter in Baraga County, Michigan. What we are looking for: • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work Day-to-day duties: • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
