Prep cook • Guthrie County, Iowa

Vacancy available: we are hiring a prep cook in Guthrie County, Iowa. You will be based at a fast-food outlet. Your main tasks: • Plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service • Chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat • Label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in • Manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs • Prepare the mise en place before each service • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases You should have: • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards • Strong knife skills and speed on the line • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
