Vacancy available: bakery assistant (Kentucky)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a bakery assistant in Powell County, Kentucky. You will be based at a neighbourhood confectionery. Ideal candidate: • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving Day to day you will boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; roll out short-crust and biscuit dough; laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream; load and unload the deck oven with a peel.
