Cnc lathe operator • Luna County, New Mexico

Immediate opening: we are hiring a cnc lathe operator in Luna County, New Mexico. You will work in a job-work machining unit. You should have: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts Your main tasks: • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets 2+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $4,300 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
