Argon welder — Red River Parish

We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon welder in Red River Parish, Louisiana. The job is at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding You will back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
