Vertical milling machine operator — Jefferson County

Now hiring: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Jefferson County, Georgia. You will work at a precision engineering workshop. On the job you will handle: • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed You should have: • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
