We are recruiting: uPVC welding machine operator (Montana)

Great opportunity: we are hiring an uPVC welding machine operator in Missoula County, Montana. You will work at a uPVC door and window showroom-cum-workshop. Your main tasks: • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash • Insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals • Cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame • Cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees • Fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely Overtime paid at a premium rate.
