Panel welder — Pope County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a panel welder in Pope County, Minnesota. The job is at a steel fabrication workshop. Day to day you will weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing. What we are looking for: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
