Conventional mill operator — Meade County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in Meade County, Kentucky. The job is at a busy machine shop. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges Your main tasks: • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing 1+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $5,400 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
