Bricklayer • Oron, Akwa Ibom State

Immediate opening: we are hiring a bricklayer in Oron, Akwa Ibom State. Ideal candidate: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage The role involves: • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge Pay around ₦900 per hour, based on your experience.
