Hoist operator — La Paz County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a hoist operator in La Paz County, Arizona. You will be based on a busy construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins You should have: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
