Ideal candidate: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls Day-to-day duties: • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes Rotating shifts.
