Core maker • Orange County, Florida

Now hiring: we are hiring a core maker in Orange County, Florida. You will be based in the fettling and dressing shop. Day to day you will make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings. You should have: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts 1+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift.
