Join our team: we are hiring an escalator technician in Cass County, Illinois. What we are looking for: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards On a typical shift you will service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments.
