Vacancy available: PVC window assembler (Alabama)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a PVC window assembler in Hale County, Alabama. You will be based at a uPVC door and window showroom-cum-workshop. You will install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter; fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash; cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees; check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals; fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam. Requirements: • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • Own basic hand tools (tape, square, screw gun) • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine 6+ years on the tools preferred.
