Immediate opening: crane rigger (Ohio)

Join our team: we are hiring a crane rigger in Erie County, Ohio. You will be based on an offshore oil and gas platform. What we are looking for: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites On the job you will handle: • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller 6+ years on the tools preferred.
