Vacancy available: CNC programmer-operator (Tennessee)

Now hiring: we are hiring a CNC programmer-operator in Knox County, Tennessee. You will work at a busy machine shop. On a typical shift you will apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters. You should have: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay.
